Since Tradebe started taking part in the Annual World’s Biggest Coffee charity fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support back in 2015, we’ve raised a total of £11,233.98. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our colleagues who once again gave up their time, expertise, ingredients and hard earned cash to make this event the continued success that it has become across Tradebe UK.
The baking game across Tradebe UK was strong this year. In Marlow it was a case of the winner bakes it all as the office’s competitive side emerged, while at Heysham the bakers proved that they didn’t knead any help, with a fine array of cakes, tarts and other treats on offer. Knottingley decided to stop loafing around this year and baked up a storm, but competition was fierce from Hinckley, who decided that for them it truly was all or muffin. Gwent’s performance was strong with an absence of half-baked ideas, while Winfrith’s impressive 2019 showing proved that they have some strong fillings for Macmillan Cancer Support. I’ll stop waffling on now because these puns are getting harder to write (and slightly worse) every year…
We cannot thank enough for all of our colleagues who took part in this year’s Macmillan campaign. Whether through the time honoured Tradebe tradition of baking and eating delicious treats, or by taking a chance on our company raffle, we couldn’t have continued to raise much needed funds without them. We would also like to thank our Macmillan site representatives for once again doing the groundwork in making these events a success. As ever, we wouldn’t be able to organise these events without their hard work and dedication. Finally we would like to thanks Macmillan Cnacer Support for thier continued excellent work. We're already looking forward to next year!
